Evy Smith

Evy Smith is a missionary working with Christian Reformed World Missions to minister to the people of Mali.

Less than 15 percent of the people of Mali know Jesus as Savior and Lord. Only a handfull of these are Fulani. The one million Fulani of Mali are Muslim and have been for the last 200 years. Although they believe in one God, hes is impersonal and distant. He causes both good and bad things to happen. They live in awe and fear; fear of evil spirits, fear of the bad things that might happen to them or be said about them.

Evy, a church developer, lives in the Fulani village of Kora. Along with evangelism and discipleship, she is involved in various projects such as wells and literacy.

Muslim evangelism requries a long-term commitment. Evy is committed to working with and praying for the Fulani of Mali in order that some of them may be free of their fears as they experience God in Jesus. She needs your commitment to prayer. Will you pray for the Mali team and the ministry there?
